AF Film is working with the Kent Community Health NHS Trust to produce a film promoting the launch of their new app Waitless. This app seeks to reduce wait times at A&E by directing people to the most relevant treatment location for their injury.
Dr John Ribchester came up with the idea after seeing a similar app used in Spain.
He said “When people sustain an injury…they often simply head to the nearest A&E department. What many people don’t realise is that a lot of minor injuries can be dealt with at several places in east Kent, not just our major hospitals. WaitLess can direct people with not so serious conditions to alternative sites where they can be treated faster, which in turn will help to reduce the pressure on our A&E departments.”
AF Film has engaged actors for this NHS film production and we will begin shooting the script this week. We always look forward to working with Jo Treharne, Head of Marketing for Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
