AF Film has been working with organisations across the UK to bring about positive social change and awareness of injustices in our communities. ‘Hate Crime: Understanding prejudice’ examines the causes of hate crime and how we can begin to combat prejudice in society. Contributions from leading authorities, researchers and social change organisations helped us to create a clear picture of the issues and what’s at stake if we don’t protect the diversity in our communities.

Community organisations, charities and social movements have a vital role to play in combatting prejudice and hate crime.  Breaking down the boundaries that divide us requires constant work, education and exposure.
