The Shepway Community Larder is a new initiative funded by West Kent Health and Care Partnership to provide key food supplies to those that need them. The Larder stocks a wide variety of fresh produce, store cupboard items and supplies and is open to everyone in the community, either for free or for a small donation. The Larder also offers a space for people to take a moment to chat, get the support they need, or be signposted to additional service and lets services reach members of the community that might otherwise be left behind.

The larder is part of the broad plan to improve long-term health outcomes of our communities by identifying key health factors and addressing them at the source, reducing the burden on the NHS and providing  more holistic, community focussed healthcare. AF Film has been working with Integrated Care Partnerships across the South East to highlight these projects and showcase the future of the NHS.
